    I am a firm believer in content marketing. If you give your audiences education about a topic that you’re an expert in, you build credibility, which leads to trust and that can lead to sales. Over the years, I’ve written and directed the content for many blogs, including PMSI/Helios (now Optum) and Elixir. In fact, I launched the blog at Elixir when it was EnvisionRx. Although I have personally authored only a handful of the blogs on the current Elixir blog, I helped guide and edit the final blogs that are on the blog today (through the article on this year’s flu).


    Back in 2012, the digital world was just beginning to evolve. Magazines were still very much a printed and mailed commodity, even in the B2B space. However, this particular publication,Risk & Insurance, offered a premium sponsorship opportunity in their digital edition. PMSI would run editorial articles in which we promoted the company through thought leadership content. There was always an accompanied video, which I also wrote and created.
